Solmairah Castillo
Solmairah Castillo is the founder and president of our organization, which was created in 2018. Ever since she was very young, she participated in humanitarian activities with her mother, who was a kindergarten teacher and a collaborator in community centers, and participated in activities for children.
Having a spirit sensible to others’ pain and suffering, she took the initiative to create a nonprofit organization to support all women, independently of their ethnicity, race, or religion. However, our founder, careful with our mission and philosophy, has a special interest in helping girls and women in unfavorable conditions creating entrepreneurship, empowerment, and capacitation programs for them to recognize their gifts and talents and be able to develop them and approach their purpose of developing a better future for them and their families.
As a female entrepreneur and consistent with her vision, Solmairah created our foundation with the purpose of capacitating and preparing everyone who is in need of support, creating many leadership and community aid programs with the purpose of empowering the ability of productivity in people, bringing them tools that will become long range instruments.
As a woman of business, Solmairah has distinguished herself for being versatile, carrying out various projects. As an actress and singer, her television career launched her image to the media, and although she has been partially separated from the industry, she keeps her connections. She is a fashion designer and is currently studying for a bachelor’s degree in theology. Solmairah, persistent in lifting our organization with a clear and defined purpose, has found unconditional support in her daughter, son, and son-in-law, who, with their example, are still preparing to give others what has been learned with excellence.
Shairam Tortosa is the youngest member of the Foundation's Board of Directors and has worked as Secretary since our beginnings. Investing time in the activities he is responsible for and creating community aid alternatives.
Since a very young age, Shairam already had a philanthropic spirit and is part of this legacy as a second generation, that with his mother and family continues creating a lineage of future generations committed with the community, supporting and empowering families of our society. Shairam is currently continuing his academic studies, where he is looking to complete his Bachelor’s degree.
Alfredo Galán
Has worked in our organization since the beginning as treasurer and member of the Board of Directors, and oversees the advance of our activities. His role as administrator makes him a substantial part of our institution, demonstrating his abilities to create aggregated value in our financial seminars aimed at people with low incomes. Alfredo graduated from the Central University of Venezuela (UCV), where he received a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics. He has two children, and with his wife and the rest of his family, enjoys all of our ventures.
Nadrijel Galán
A member of the Council of Administration of our nonprofit organization from the beginning. As Vicepresident,
she studies and develops policy and strategies to implement in our Foundation, carrying out civic
and humanitarian character activities with approval from the presidency. Nadrijel received her Bachelor’s
Degree in Economics in 2006 from the Faculty of Economic and Social Sciences in the Central University of
Venezuela (UCV); she has two children, and with her husband and the rest of her family, enjoys participating
in various community activities. As a fundamental part of the organization, her aspirations tend to directly
impact the lives of all people in need.
